I absolutely love this place. The food is by far the best breakfast I could ask for with a very decent price point. I highly recommend it and will definitely be going back!!
Anna's is a dying breed; in a Formica world it's a non-franchise experience. No drive through line to manoeuvre, no SkipTheDishes delivery guy to dodge as he speeds out the door, his Indiana Jones messenger bags flying out behind him. Just peeling paint and a countertop with no end cap. And it's wonderful. Your choices for a real breakfast are stopping here, or a one hour drive. And what a breakfast. No bacon sliced so thin that you need a micrometre or sausages the size of toothpicks. They put jam selections on the table, seemingly nonchalant about the cheapskates who fill their pockets. A sunny side up egg is just that - with the perfect amount of 'rooster juice', as my mom calls it. The waitress doesn't pretend you're her best friend, she is friendly and efficient4. I don't know if Barbie would approve, but Ken is going back for seconds.
Great place, staff very friendly. The food was so good. I ordered a tea and got a big cup, loved it. My daughter gave it 10/10. If you can get past the floor and the age of it, It’s quaint. Most people who come in know each other that’s a small town atmosphere for sure. The lady who served us made me a tea to go, for free, Wonderful. I recommend this restaurant.
Stopped in at this local diner attached to the Esso as we were heading back home. Standard fare on the menu that you’d expect but far more delicious than you’d guess. Opted for the special: Potato & Bacon soup, Anna’s burger, fries, gravy & a pop... 19.99. Food was really tasty, a solid 10/10. Will definitely stop in next time I pass through.
